Belash’s 48th Anniversary Celebration

On 7th July 1977, Belash first opened its doors in Harlow, making history as the town’s very first established restaurant. What began as a family dream has grown into a cherished home for authentic Bangladeshi cuisine, hospitality, and countless special memories shared with our community.

This year, we proudly marked 48 wonderful years of Belash with an unforgettable celebration on Friday 4th July. Friends, family, and loyal customers joined us to honour this milestone in true style – an evening filled with food, music, and memories to last a lifetime.

Guests enjoyed an exclusive 3-course Bangladeshi banquet that showcased the very best of our kitchen. The night began with tapas-style starters, followed by signature dishes including Bengali Roast Chicken, a rich Bengali Lamb Bhuna, accompanied by Pilau Rice and Tarka Dhall. To finish, a selection of luxury desserts brought a sweet ending to a truly special menu.

The atmosphere was brought to life with a stunning performance from Lydia, delivering a live lounge experience that had the room swaying and singing along. It was a night of celebration, reflection, and gratitude – a testament to the bond we share with our community after nearly five decades.

We want to extend our heartfelt thanks to everyone who has supported Belash over the years. Your love, loyalty, and friendship have made this journey possible, and we look forward to welcoming you for many more years of wonderful food and unforgettable moments.
